During his twenty plus years of architectural experience in the United States, Rudy worked with diverse architecture firms in Portland, Oregon.  Rudy worked on a number of award-winning projects such as the Nike World Headquarter expansion, the University of Portland Franz Hall and Willamette University FW Olin Science Center.  Besides major complex projects such as micro-electronic facilities, Rudy also worked on other building types, from schools to university buildings, and from private residences to retirement housing.

During the last fifteen years, he has accumulated his international experience with a number of multi-national design companies in Taiwan and China.  This diverse experience in both the US and Asia allowed Rudy to understand the importance of different approaches to different regions. He has mastered adjusting to project criteria and cultures in different countries as well as the importance of understanding unique local codes and construction standards.

Rudy has built a solid list of satisfied and returning clients.  Whether it is industrial or non-industrial projects, Rudy’s design approach always has one common goal – the design has to meet the program, within budget and schedule, and be beautiful from the inside and outside.  For Rudy, architecture is a business of building a client's trust and helping the client to realize the vision of their built-environment.

Rudy is the Head Design Director and the Director of Operations for iHabitat in China.
